Ui and Polish
This week delivers a big old update with a bunch of features! This includes an entire Ui system, a tutorial, 4 levels with increasing difficulty and a high score system. Many hours were spent in the delivery of this update and i am proud to deliver an almost complete game! As the title states the goal for this week was to implement a Ui system and attempt to polish some features. The Ui is basically 100% complete, the only other thing i could have included was a settings menu option, but that would basically only give the option of adjusting the volume of the bike. For the polish part of the update, changes were made to several scripts to improve the way they function as well as a fix to the parallax background to stop the rubber banding.
User interface
For the user interface, i wanted to include 3 things. The first and perhaps the most obvious was the creation of a main menu to let the user navigate further Ui features. The second addition to the Ui was the level select menu, this menu does what it says on the tin and allows the player to select from any of the four level or the tutorial level. The third addition to the Ui was the high scores menu, again, doing what it says on the tin, it allows players to view the current best times on each of the levels. As part of the high scores menu, a separate Ui within each level had to be created to allow the player to enter their name if they achieve a best time.

Polish
The polish portion of MotoMadness for this update includes the new high score system, a fix to the parallax background , 4 new levels of increasing difficulty, a whole tutorial level with introduction to features and a walk through of the controls and finally a Ui that appears if you achieved a best time on a level. The tutorial system was identified as a feature that players new to the game could benefit from greatly after a testing session was conducted to collect information on user experience. The new high score system provides players the ability to compete as the high score menu is shared! Each of the new levels will increase in difficulty from 1, being the easiest, to 4, being the hardest.
